Easter was a wonderful day. We visited with my MIL at the nursing home (unfortunately, she is now back in ICU again) and then went to visit my dad at his nursing home. Both enjoyed seeing our entire family and it was nice to see them so happy.
After we came home, we did the Easter egg hunt for the kids. My SIL Debbie and I filled 120 eggs with candy and money, and put them out in the yard. It took us an hour to fill the eggs and scatter them. It took the kids exactly 4 minutes to find all the eggs. ;-) But it was fun anyway.
Here is a picture of DH and I that my brother took shortly before our Easter dinner.
The last few days have been spent doing various things. On Monday, I took my niece Megan over to Claytopia in Northampton for a bit of paint your own pottery time. Megan made a beautiful gift for her mother; a wine goblet, and I made a chip and dip platter for us. I'll be taking my boys over there tomorrow since it is school vacation week, and I always try to do at least one thing that is different for them each vacation.
And the last two days have been spent shearing rabbits. Here is one of the rabbits that was shorn. She is an absolute sweetheart during the shearing process; just stretched right out over my legs (with her back feet hanging off my legs!) and relaxed. I wish they were all this good. :)
