While I'm sure you can't see exactly what it is, this is the start of the Ribby Cardi. A trip to Webs on Wednesday provided me with 5 skeins of Cascade 220 in black, and another 4 skeins in turquoise blue. For $4.89 per skein, it was irresistible.
Of course my biggest problem is deciding how I'm going to shorten this sweater. I'm knitting the largest size; I'm not exactly what one would call "small", but I'm short in height. ;-) I think I'm going to have to actually do some knitting math calculations later on. Oh, the horror! Of course, if anyone wants to send any helpful information my way, I'm all ears!
Claudia inspired me to get outside for some photographs. I'm stuck inside this office WAY too much for my own good. So a quick run down of what I saw around my yard:
Sparky and Night in their respective cages. Night belongs to Boo, but Sparky was born here. Calvin lays claim to him.
A beautiful Spring sky! Have you noticed that the sky is getting bluer? The washed out winter sky is starting to go away.
The first dandelion I found in our yard. Of course, I turned the corner of the house and found a bunch more. :)
My pansies aren't looking too hot. I think they might have been nipped by the cold air last night.
The pussy willows are going to seed.
And my Easter lillies are still blooming inside.
